Big in the US and Canada for their practicality, sliding and folding doors have been de-rigeur as room dividers, allowing extra rooms to be created instantly when needed, and are now catching on here. Lifestyle, technical innovation, functionality and convenience are represented for use online and in print, showing not only dividers, but access to outdoors.
These CGI’s are just the tip of the iceberg. As well as the series of computer generated images used for online and print literature these models also formed the centerpiece of a number of technical animations. These CG Animations were designed to not only communicate the functionality of the product, but also sell the lifestyle.
The virtual room sets show the products as both room dividers and indoor/outdoor doors. I know what you’re thinking, “that’s a lot of doors”. Well you’d be right. We had to go down to the manufacturing plant and see these products in action. It was important that the animations correctly and accurately capture the movement that the customers can expect and the customers can certainly expect a lot of door for their money.
